The Minna no Kouryuukan Naraha CANvas is a community facility built within the compact town "Kokonara Shoten-gai" located in the center of Naraha Town. It was designed based on the feelings expressed in workshops by the townspeople and opened in July 2018. The facility is very clean and includes workspaces and meeting rooms, making it ideal for telework during a workation. "Kokonara Shoten-gai" also has restaurants, so you won't have any trouble finding meals while working.

The Futaba Business Incubation and Community Center, which opened in October 2020 in the Nakano district, the first area in the town to have evacuation orders lifted, is a complex facility that includes rental conference rooms and offices, as well as a food court, restaurant, and souvenir shop.

The rooftop observation deck offers a panoramic view of Futaba town and also overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It is the perfect spot for a refreshing break during work.

At "Sendan-tei" located in the food court, you can enjoy the famous "Namie Yakisoba" from the B-1 Grand Prix! The chewy, thick noodles are a must-see.

Tenjin Cape Sports Park (Naraha Town) offers everything for work, accommodation, and meals.

Accommodation includes facilities with Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, cottages where you can experience a villa-like atmosphere, and camping options. "Tenjin Cape Sports Park" is a complex facility where you can enjoy activities such as meals and cycling, making it a spot enjoyable for both adults and children.

At the entrance of the approach to Kitada Tenmangu Shrine, which is located on the same premises, there is a large torii gate. Its height is an impressive 17.2 meters, making it the largest in the prefecture! "Fukushima Ikoi no Mura Namie" is an accommodation facility where you can choose between a Japanese-style room with a large public bath and sauna, or a cottage type. It features a multipurpose room with a Japanese-style design that can be freely used for gatherings and training, as well as a dining area with an open terrace, making it a beloved place of relaxation for locals. In the cottage area, BBQ is also available, making it enjoyable for groups and companies.

This time, the Workations editorial team stayed at this accommodation, and we were able to relax very much in an environment surrounded by nature.

"Heritage Hall" (Futaba Town) to learn about the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear disaster.

The "Higashi Nihon Daishinsai and Nuclear Disaster Memorial Museum" opened in September 2020. The memorial hall, with an appearance like that of an art museum, contains various information regarding the Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear disaster. Now, 12 years after the disaster, the memorial hall serves as a place to convey what we must remember and what we want people to know anew.

Fire trucks deformed by the tsunami are also on display, allowing visitors to experience the disaster-stricken area. Through the exhibits and videos, one can learn about the experiences and lessons from the complex disaster of the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear disaster, the days Fukushima has faced, and the outlook for the future.

"The Futaba Super Zero Mill - Air Kaoru Futabamaru" is a factory of Asano Yarn Co., Ltd., which was established in 1967 and created the world's first twisting yarn factory. You can take a factory tour and there is a direct shop where you can purchase products. It's recommended for gifts and souvenirs!"
